Introduction to Scrapbooking with Judi
You can repeat this workshop as many times as you like and you will complete a layout each time that you do so don’t worry if you’ve been before & want to attend again just to refresh your memory – treat it a bit like a mini crop! You will learn about why is it important when preserving precious photos to use acid and lignin free products and how can you identify which products are safe to use?  Judi will cover how to organise and sort your images and suitable preservation steps you should take before you’re ready to scrapbook your photos.  Judi will also talk about 3 basic design concepts; the rule of thirds, the z line and colour.  You’ll learn how and when to crop your photos and the best glues to use to adhere your photos safely. You should bring with you 10-15 photos of one event (please bring copies only, not your precious 80 year old originals). You will complete a single/double page layout using the photos that you bring.

Jewellery with Mandy
At this beginners workshop Mandy will show you how to make a simple, but pretty, necklace and bracelet using Thong to make the necklace and Tiger Tail for the bracelet. Mandy will show you how to complete your necklace with a pendant.

Tunnel Cards with Chrissie
Join us to learn how to make these fascinating 3D Tunnel Cards which pack flat for easy posting. You will also learn techniques to improve your chalking & stamping.

Journaling with Judi
Today you will explore the importance of journaling and the sort of information you should record. Judi will run through a few exercises that will help you trigger your memories and write meaningful, yet not sloppy, words on your precious pages.

IMPORTANT You should bring along either a photo that is meaningful to you, such as a photo of a loved one or an event that ‘tugs your heart strings.’

At this workshop you will complete some pieces of meaningful journaling to go onto future pages

Patterns and colours with Judi
With all the different options available, you can easily end up with hundreds of different colours and patterns in your collection of craft materials. In this class, using a colour wheel we’ll learn about triadic, monochromatic and complementary colour schemes.  We’ll work out which colours match best with each other and learn how to piece together patterns that don’t make your cards and scrapbook pages look too busy. At this workshop you will be making a patterned card for any occasion as well as a single page layout with two 6x4 photos, (a great chance to try out scrap booking!), so remember to bring a few photos of a single theme or event with you.

Blending Blox with Janice
In this workshop Janice will show you how to make fabulous cards using Blending Blox, which are ink pads that contain four shades of the same colour. When blended together the colours remain rich and vibrant and produce fascinating variations of shade & colour. You will be using them with stamps and to make backgrounds.

Judi designs & markets the SCRAPPERDASHERY product range & writes articles for several national scrapbooking magazines. Judi is also a qualified Ranger Educator after attending Ranger University in the USA. Today, Judi will be showing you all sorts of Paper Crafting tips & techniques for all of your scrapbooking & card making projects – who knows we might even get some of you cropping for the first time!

Treasure boxes with Chrissie
Today Chrissie will show you how to make a beautiful keepsake gift box. You will be stamping and embossing to create the box and using Twinkling H2O’s & glitters to decorate it. To make the top of the box you will use a medallion stamp, stamped & layered several times.
